Transgendering The Olympics

The Guardian reports:

IOC rules transgender athletes can take part in Olympics without surgery
Female-to-male athletes can compete ‘without restriction’, while male-to-female athletes must undergo hormone therapy, according to new guidelines

Let me begin by saying I am passing no judgement whatsoever on transgendered people or their lifestyle. All I am saying is, this is inherently nonsensical in the case of female-to-male athletes, and inherently unfair in the case of male-to-female athletes.

Progressives love to spew that there are no differences between men and women. That whatever men can do, women can do, and vice versa. That there is, in essence, no real differences between men and women, and the two are, more or less, interchangeable. To this I say POPPYCOCK! I am fully aware of the study that showed there is no sharp division between male and female brains, but all that means is there is no difference in our brains. That doesn’t mean there are no differences between men and women.

In this particular instance, let me state the obvious: THE STRONGEST MEN ARE STRONGER THAN THE STRONGEST WOMEN. Hence, a female-to-male athlete competing against the best men in the OVERWHELMING number of Olympic events will most likely lose almost every-time. A male-to-female athlete competing against women may have an unfair advantage due to the inherent strength differences between men and women: MEN ARE GENERALLY STRONGER THAN WOMEN.

Men and women are ABSOLUTELY equal, but they are not completely interchangeable. There are some things that both men and women can do equally, but there are also some things which men are better suited for as well as some things which women are better suited for. In most sports, men are able to beat women almost always, so I think this ruling is ridiculous. Another case of EMOTION and FEELING take precedence over LOGIC and REALITY. It’s simple, have a transgender category for males, a transgender category for females. Problem solved.

A transgender man is not a man. He is a transgender man. A transgender female is not a female. She is a transgender female. That is not a judgement, it is reality. But hey, I’m just a cop.

The Storm The Media Choose To Ignore

A storm of people with strong principles. This weekend’s snow storm was all that most news outlets, particularly local news, could talk about. The snow started to fall in Washington DC around  2 PM EST on Friday, January 22nd, 2016. That didn’t stop THOUSANDS of pro-life marchers from their mission: their annual March For Life rally. Throngs of people marched during a blizzard, including a barefoot monk, and the media remained silent. Instead, at least here in the NY tri-state area, people were told to stay inside and not venture outside in the cold, as snow and wind made it very uncomfortable, and many said dangerous. Yet these people would not be deterred.

Whether you are pro-life or pro-choice is really not the issue. The fact that thousands upon thousands of people feel so strongly about an issue, they were compelled to weather a blizzard rather than stay silent is deserving of mention. When you take into consideration that there is so much nonsense reported, I just can not see a good argument for not reporting this. Yet there was nothing on television about it. Why is that? I would venture to believe that it is because the majority of news outlets are overwhelming liberal and pro-choice. This story does not help the pro-choice movement, so they simply ignore it. In my opinion, it is utterly disgraceful. Sadly, it is not surprising to me in the least.

My hat is off to the multitude of people who took part in this event. While most of the east coast, myself included, hunkered down in our homes this past weekend during a snow storm, these people showed amazing strength of conviction. I find it to be commendable. But hey, I’m just a cop.

SOME Of The Money Will Go To Support Terrorism, But….

Today, the Obama administration admitted that it is likely that some of the money given to Iran in the nuclear deal will go towards funding terrorism.

I really am at a loss of words. I really don’t know what to say, because, well, the Obama administration admitted that it is likely that some of the money given to Iran in the nuclear deal will go towards funding terrorism. It truly boggles my mind how this administration believes that this is acceptable. It truly boggles my mind how people can appease evil, and yes, a country that threatens to annihilate Israel is evil. It truly boggles my mind that the Iran Deal will be worth more than all the U.S. aid to Israel since 1948.

In my opinion, President Obama is, without question, the worst U.S. President in my lifetime, and arguably of all time. But hey, I’m just a cop.

NYC’s First Potential Snowfall

On a light note, NYC and the surrounding areas is set to get it’s first snowfall this weekend. Starting Friday evening, the forecast currently calls for 1-3 inches of snow to fall, with another 5-8 inches to fall on Saturday. What I always find amusing is that there are regions of the state, the country, and the world, that routinely receive twice as much snow, with it having little to no effect on area. In NYC and the surrounding areas, just a few inches of snow causes an almost panicked state!

People run to the stores to purchase “supplies”, as if they believed they are going to be snowed in their home for days. Schools are closed, sometimes on just the mere forecast of snow. The media puts out a constant stream of warnings about the potential danger of driving, as though driving in the snow was somehow a life threatening undertaking. I just laugh. To me, it’s usually all just a joke. It’s just snow people. We don’t ride horses to travel anymore, we have heated automobiles, and all it takes to arrive safely to your destination is a slower pace and a little common sense. Two feet of snow? I can see the issue. Three to six inches? Relax, it’s not a big deal. But hey, I’m just a cop. Cops drive to work in all kinds of weather.

Back From Austria

Just returned from my two week honeymoon in Austria, and I must say, I was very impressed. The country itself was stunningly beautiful, and the people were amazingly courteous. The food was absolutely delicious, the cities we visited, Vienna, Graz, and Salzburg, were very clean and well kept. A liberal friend of mine immediately commented, “Democratic socialism is not as bad as you thought? Mind perhaps expanding?”, to which I laughed. Not quite, and I will get into that in another post.

I just wanted to let everyone know I am back home, and getting ready to post daily again. So much to discuss, so much to comment on: I’m actually excited! It’s going to be a good year!
