I’ll be honest up front, I don’t watch The Oscars. But I read and watch the news. Let me get straight to the point.
On Saturday, 02/27/16 Ronald Hamilton, 32, an active duty Army staff sergeant assigned to the Joint Staff Support Center at the Pentagon, is accused of shooting and killing Officer Ashley Guindon. Stating the obvious, Hamilton is a black male, Guidon was a female police officer.
Last evening, Chris Rock during his monologue at the Oscars, Hollywood’s shining evening, said the following:
“Thing, you know, this year, the Oscars, things are gonna be a little different. Things are going to be a little different at the Oscars. This year, in the In Memoriam package, it’s just going to be black people that were shot by the cops on their way to the movies.” Continue readingby
