Trump Personifies Negative Republican/Conservative Stereotypes

greedy

A very good article from Newsmax entitled “The Biggest Myths About Republicans” starts off:

“Over the years, Democrats and the mainstream media have fashioned an array of myths about Republicans.

According to those stereotypes, Republicans and especially conservatives are racist, homophobic, uncaring about the poor, mean-spirited, greedy, selfish, and intolerant.”

Democrats, liberals and leftists have long furthered those stereotypes about Republicans, and yes, conservatives in particular. Nurturing and promulgating them with deception, lies, and untruths. The mainstream media is so overwhelming supportive of these views, that their bias has become obvious to those of us who know how to look for it. Day in and day out, they try their best to provide “evidence” of conservative maliciousness, in their never ending attempt to bring us down. Well, be honest. How many of those negative stereotypes will the media use against Trump? Let’s take a look.

Racist:

Homophobic

Uncaring About the Poor

Mean-Spirited

Greedy, Selfish, and Intolerant

Whether or not such allegations are true or not doesn’t change the perception. Elections are about independents, and again I ask you, how many neutral people, who don’t really follow politics closely enough to formulate an opinion about a candidate are going to look at Donald Trump, and say, “That’s my man!” All one has to do is google “Trump Quotes” and the very first result will provide a link to the following gems:

  • 1. “An ‘extremely credible source’ has called my office and told me that Barack Obama’s birth certificate is a fraud”
  • 2. “Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again – just watch. He can do much better!”
  • 3. “Ariana Huffington is unattractive, both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man – he made a good decision.”
  • 4. “You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media write as long as you’ve got a young, and beautiful, piece of ass.”
  • 6. “I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me – and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”
  • 7. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bring crime. They’re rapists… And some, I assume, are good people.”
  • 8. “Our great African-American President hasn’t exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore.”
  • 9. “If I were running ‘The View’, I’d fire Rosie O’Donnell. I mean, I’d look at her right in that fat, ugly face of hers, I’d say ‘Rosie, you’re fired.’”
  • 10. “All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me – consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected.”
  • 11. “One of they key problems today is that politics is such a disgrace. Good people don’t go into government.”
  • 12. “The beauty of me is that I’m very rich.”
  • 13. “It’s freezing and snowing in New York – we need global warming!”
  • 14. “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”
  • 15. “My fingers are long and beautiful, as, it has been well documented, are various other parts of my body.”
  • 16. “I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.”
  • 17. “I think the only difference between me and the other candidates is that I’m more honest and my women are more beautiful.”
  • 18. “You’re disgusting.”
  • 19. “The point is, you can never be too greedy.”
  • 20. “Sorry, there is no STAR on the stage tonight!”
  • 21. “My Twitter has become so powerful that I can actually make my enemies tell the truth.”
  • 22. “My IQ is one of the highest — and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure; it’s not your fault.”
  • 23. “I have so many fabulous friends who happen to be gay, but I am a traditionalist.”
  • 24. “The other candidates — they went in, they didn’t know the air conditioning didn’t work. They sweated like dogs…How are they gonna beat ISIS? I don’t think it’s gonna happen.”

Forget that the persons making this list were so caught up in their blatantly obviously disdain for Donald Trump that they forgot to include 5 in their list (and never went back and edited either), because does that matter?  We are just nine months away from selecting our President. This election is crucial for many reasons, Supreme Court Justice nominations comes immediately to mind, and this is the very first thing that pops up about the man we are dangerously close to putting forward as our nominee? I’m am terribly sorry, but I fail to see how anyone believes Trump is the best candidate we have to offer. I also fail to see how anyone refuses to see how Hillary Clinton is going to have a field day debating Donald Trump. Does anyone believe that Trump’s aggressive, bloated, pompous mannerisms, with his faces and hand gestures, is going to work against Hillary? Do you think Donald Trump, on national television, will be able to say to Hillary Clinton, “Keep Quiet. I’m talking.” and get away with it?

The media has been giving Trump all the press for two primary reasons. First, he gets them ratings, but secondly, and more importantly, they want him to face Hillary! They want him to face Hillary because they will unleash an unholy inundation of vitriolic, condemnable, tirades against him unlike any other candidate has ever seen. Look what is already being said about him, and he hasn’t won the nomination yet. The media is still holding back.

And to those who keep saying, “But Trump has withstood it so far”, you keep forgetting how disliked Trump is among Republicans as well. Cruz and Rubio are the “Anti-Trump” candidates, and both have many supporters who despise Trump. How many of them will refuse to vote for Trump? Finally, according to many polls, including the latest RealClearPoltics Poll, Donald Trump is THE ONLY Republican candidate that Hillary Clinton CONSISTENTLY BEATS.

That’s it. I’m spent. This Tuesday is Super Tuesday, and depending on the results, Donald Trump can more or less assure he gets the nomination. If he does, I will vote for him, as I routinely promise. I just hope and pray that he isn’t. I’m a conservative. I am not a racist. I am not homophobic. I do care about poor people. I am not mean-spirited, nor am I greedy, selfish, or intolerant. The overwhelming majority of conservatives that I know aren’t either. Are you? Then why would want a man who provides so much material to support that he is all or some of those things, to represent your party in the upcoming election? I don’t, but hey, I’m just a cop.

Great article. Shows many of the reasons why people should take a deeper look into who DT is, and stop listening to sound bytes.

Don’t give up until it’s over brother.
